Here’s how a nature walk can lead to a gorgeous Fall Festive table.

  • Collect pinecones, twigs, branches, tall grasses and some beautiful Fall leaves.

  • Rustic Napkin rings – Using vine type twigs, twist into circles and secure with twine or wire.  Slide your napkins inside, add a rustic piece of wheat or ornamental grass and add a dried orange slice on top

  • Dried Citrus – slice thin pieces of grapefruit, oranges and lemons, place on a parchment lined baking sheet and roast for 3 hours or until crisp.  Use over and over!  Glue a slice to your place cards to add install Fall appeal.

TIP: I love selecting candle holders that have an area to add seasonal items.  Here, I used simple popcorn kernels vase fillers and add some rustic twigs and berries.  Next month, I’ll add cranberries and sprigs of Rosemary.  Summer bring sand and seashells!

  • Scatter mason jars filled with clippings of ornamental grasses, berries and branches

  • Leftover Halloween pumpkins make great table décor

  • White Plates – easiest and cheapest to find, and BONUS – food looks better on white plates!

  • On your walk, collect some beautiful (recently fallen) leaves in various shapes.  Coat with glue and cover with Fall toned glitter – let dry overnight and scatter around the table for sparkle

TIP: No tablecloth for that gathering, no problem!  Check your local craft store fabric section and look for “end of bolt” clearance deals.  This 20’ piece of linen cost $15.  Also helps hide seams between tables when needing to push multiple tables together.
